This film was created during the investigation conducted for the first time on children born of the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945). At the start of the project, some people held the conception that these children did not exist and that the project would be fruitless. It was indeed challenging to find these children, especially because there is no association of their own. Eventually, some Sino-Japanese children born of war residing in Japan could be found, and seven of them, including Michiko, agreed to take the interview.
